Dr. Mark Glover practices laparoscopic and robotic hernia surgery in Austin, TX with Austin Surgeons. He is fellowship trained in minimally invasive surgery focusing primarily on the field of hernia repair. He is a board certified fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He was the first in central Texas and Austin to focus on the specialty of hernia repair and abdominal wall reconstruction, and the first two promote hernia outcomes through the AHSQC.
Originally a native of Texas, he completed his undergraduate degree and medical school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. After completion of his medical degree, he completed general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee.
He went on to pursue additional training with a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Texas Endosurgery Institute in San Antonio, TX. There he continued to practice on staff for Texas Endosurgery before moving to Austin and joining Austin Surgeons.
